Blindfire

This game does not deserve its recent negative reviews. The aesthetics of this game are really great and the gameplay is wholly unique. I was also able to find matches within a couple minutes when playing this weekend. However, if you play on off-peak hours or have issues the game supports custom matches with bots. Unfortunately, custom matches do not give xp so you may have to switch to peak hours if trying to 100%. The main issue for me is tied to the game's use of Epic Online Services, which caused a lot of issues for our group trying to get the overlay to work for everyone. However, this was fixable. There are multiple objective modes and some player controlled traps which are pretty unique. The loadouts are interesting, but I think they could have been tuned better as if you pick something you don't like you will not have an option to change until you reach the next match. This leads to a game which feels very tactical but broken up by short, extremely lethal bursts of panic. You only need 4 people for wingman or for most of the other game modes to feel decent, so if you have a couple friends who are into this kind of gameplay you should give it a shot.

While not without flaw, this game is very cool. It is essentially laser tag in a video game. There are multiple small nuances that I don't exactly care for, but as a casual fun-with-friends game, it's amazing. It doesn't scratch the same itch I had for Spetre Divide (rest in peace), but I'd pick it up and have fun with it anyway. Let's go over what I like about the game first: 1. It's fast-paced and mindgamy. The best way to win is to outsmart and outmanuver your opponents. Despite being a game where you're in the dark 80% of the time, there is an anti-camping feature that makes you visable to everyone on the map, making you an easy target, so you have to constantly move if you want to stay hidden. This makes it feel authentic enough so that you don't have anyone just staright-up cheesing you like you'd find in actual laser tag. 2. The lighting is great. You're never safe at any point at all. Dead players can activate traps that light up an area to reveal you, which I would find to be a problem in actual matches with full players, but this game doesn't have that, so it's not an issue for now. Very very fun game, only downside right now is that the playerbase isn't very large. If you like games with a fun challenge to it this is so fun to play with friends.

Looks like a promissing concept and also is cool to play but with only 3 other players on the server its sadly not working out. I will look into the game from time to time since its still alot of fun. Would love this game to be picked up by a bigger streamer so more ppl might get into it.

This is seriously really really awesome. you can customize a lot for free! Weapon variants, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, FREE! It takes skill to level up instead of cash! Cool theming and the Blacklight features are great!

They are not gona keep the servers up forever lol. (or maybe they will, considering there is no one to add costs to their server upkeep) Also once you play like 2 rounds and you've seen everything (mostly), as one of their "epic" steam reviews said: counter strike with blindfolds. Very slow end of round interval, u shoot what u can't see but can hear, spam space to echo or just shoot crazy and win or loose. Sad.
