THE GAMEPLAY
Waking up in a room she doesn’t recognize, Emma finds herself lying on a dusty, blood-stained bed with bandages wrapped around her head. Looking around, she notices moldy wooden walls dimly lit by the evening glow. With her last memory being a solo road trip, she begins to suspect she may have been kidnapped – or worse. With no map, no weapons, and no clear answers, you must guide Emma through a decrepit log house and whatever lies beyond. Clues are scarce and nothing is explained outright. You’ll find letters, drawings, and fragments of stories that suggest something deeply wrong happened here… and may still be happening.Visions will strike – unprompted and often inexplicable. Some might hold meaning. Others may be fragments of Emma’s deteriorating mind. As the world shifts subtly around you, you’ll begin to question: what’s real, and what is meant to be real?Your only goal is to get out. But doing so will mean pushing forward into the unknown—and uncovering a truth you may not want to face.THE STORY
Emma is alone. At least, that’s what it seems like at first. After regaining consciousness in a strange wooden house, she’s plagued by disjointed memories, inexplicable visions, and a deep sense of being watched. The house feels abandoned but inhabited at the same time. Personal belongings lie untouched. Lights flicker with impossible rhythm. The world breathes differently in this place. There are lingering emotions of sorrow, regret, and a hint of something otherworldly. As Emma moves deeper into this suffocating environment, her grip on reality becomes increasingly fragile. Someone – or something – is talking to her. Not just through words, but through her sixth sense. What happened in this house? Why was she brought here? Can she truly escape, or is she only sinking deeper into something far worse? What Steam players say

I love how this game brings a unique kind of spookiness to the horror genre. The atmosphere is eerie in the best way possible impressive for an indie developer, yet still deeply haunting. The visuals are appealing, and the story unfolds slowly, keeping me hooked throughout. When it comes to jump scares, I truly believe the game handles them the right way meaningful and well-timed, not just for shock value. It’s refreshing to see a fresh take on the genre.6 found this helpful
I usually dont enjoy horror games but Im glad I played this one! it's not your usual jumpscare horror game. The process of finding out what has happened to the character was so anxiety inducing. Love it!!5 found this helpful
Solid game right here that ya can finish in one session. I like that it featured voice over work, an interestin' story and I liked the graphic style. The game is also priced nicely. The dev should continue on with more games using the knowledge gained from this one. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/VuCjG3rPSHY3 found this helpful
Very eerie and unsettling atmosphere, great sound design too. Amazing job! PS. This definitely needs a sequel. :P2 found this helpful
Games so nice, I played it twice!1 found this helpful
"Blinding Oversight" is more of a short, interactive experience rather than a full game, but it's still a really good one. The horror is almost entirely carried by the haunting atmosphere, the sound design and the escalation of tension. Yes, there are some jumpscares, but they're not the cheap ones you see in most horror games. They're done creatively and make sense in the context of the narrative. The game is pretty short and has some rough edges, but that doesn't stop it from being a memorable experience.1 found this helpful
