About Bogatyr
Bogatyr is a third-person action RPG set in a pseudo-historical fantasy world of Ancient Rus.
The main character is a harsh warrior who returned from a ten-year war with the basurmans on the Southern Borders. He finds his native land in desolation. He is taciturn, he does not tell his name to anyone, he has one goal - to save his native land.
The hero will have to understand what happened to his native village, clean the neighborhood from pagan contamination and defeat the Ancient Evil lurking in the swamps.

I'm not really sure if Bogatyr is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. Bogatyr is an older game from 2014. It's a venerable 10 years old at the time of this review. It's an Eastern Bloc asset-flip feeling action RPG with some of the worst translation ever done. Google Translate is free, how hard is this exactly?? Unfortunately the translation is one of the most professionally done parts of the game, the rest is garbage. This is unfun to play with clunky combat, zero polish on anything, it's an unmitigated jankfest of a game. I was about to give this a Postive review. Since it only cost a dollar.... ...but that shouldn't have a bearing on the review. This game is a MESS. Broken main quest. Broken minor quests. Confusing quest, and odd quest markers that sometimes mean nothing. Translation to english is a mess. Combat is simple and a mess. Healing is a joke, and just pointless. I don't even think you get any weapon except an Axe. Inventory is a joke. It''s a shame, because there is a game here somewhere.....but the Dev messed up when they tried to actually make the game a game. You can see there is some intent at making something...I just don't know what it is. There is ZERO help online, nothing! its as if the game never exsised. its a smaller indie game for sure, and the English translation should be taken out back and shot I feel the passion though, and I like it
