About Boogie Fungi

Build and maintain a colony of Mushrooms, keep them happy with constant parties and make sure to deploy some defenses to deal with foragers
Buy and place a different array of substrates in your colony, each with different properties that affect the life of the mycelium that shall establish there. A bigger variety of substrates placed means a bigger pool of different mushrooms will be able to move right in, so make sure to check them all.Accept requests from different mushroom that want to join your colony, each with different substrate required you just need to assign one to them and give them some time to grow some roots before they spawn. There are a bunch of little ones that will want to stay in your colony and every new region you open up will unlock new kinds of mushrooms, so make sure to unlock and collect them all.Take care of your Mushroom by keeping them happy with parties and level them up by giving them some tasty nutrients!But...Watch out for these pesky guys who mean trouble, they will simply pluck your Mushroom from their homes! But that is Ok, the mycelium lives on, for a time. In any case, make sure to hire some muscle and add some defenses around!

This little game is super cute and casual, focused on growing different kinds of mushrooms and defending them from humanoid invaders!! I found the experience really fun and even tho its a farming game its not afk at all and can be finished in about two or three hours. theres only one limited area to unlock, and once youve planted everywhere theres not much left to do besides upgrading your mushroom patches or playing the little music minigame. I thought it was really cool and creative that besides growing mushrooms, you also get to place traps and defenses all over your farm. you have to protect it from waves of invaders that appear over time, so you need to fortify the whole area by investing in defenses like wasps and poisonous plants. I really liked that idea bc it mixes a farming game with tower defense, since you have to protect your mushrooms while also thinking carefully about how to spend your points and upgrades!!

Cute game. It was engaging enough to keep me playing for a couple of hours during my first run, but ultimately there wasn’t enough content to bring me back afterward. Still, 2–3 hours of entertainment for $3–5 feels like a fair price. The game sits somewhere between an incremental clicker, a creature collector, and a tower-defense game, but it doesn’t fully commit to any one of those genres strongly enough to truly be categorized as any of them and ultimately feels less than the sum of its parts. That is not to say it is a bad game but rather that it had the potential to be much better. Advice to the developers: -Exponentially increase the number of mushroom types. As it stands, there simply aren’t enough varieties for the game to be considered a true creature collector. -Add a few more music tracks. The current soundtrack is satisfactory at best, but it becomes tedious very quickly, which shouldn’t happen in a game meant to evoke a sense of relaxation -Explain the defense mechanics; "party" and "boredom" mechanics; "forager" types; resource types.. hell, its probably best to just rethink your entire approach to the tutorial and rebuild that aspect from the ground up because…

very cute, great for keeping busy for a few hours. 7/10. reminds me of a creature collector. had some difficulty when it came to the rhythm minigame, seemed slightly unresponsive and had a immense jump in difficulty.
