Bot Loop is an engaging roguelike with satisfying combat mechanics and a rewarding progression system that keeps players coming back for more runs. While players consistently praise the skill-based parry system, animations, and addictive gameplay loop, some criticize the initial learning curve and feel the asking price is too high for the amount of content offered. Overall, it's a solid indie effort that particularly appeals to players who enjoy challenging, skill-based roguelikes despite its rough early presentation.
Fun game!! The progression makes you feel wanting to go another round. the animations and combos make it EXTREMELY satisfy to hit (when you hit them, sometimes not that easy). I had a blast with the full runs, minigames and overall difficulty progression. If you like roguelikes consider giving this one a chance.4 found this helpful
Great little indie game. Took me a while to get into it, but once you get your head around the upgrades, and start getting stronger, then game becomes more fun. It's a basic turn-based rogue-like with timing-based block/parry system, chip upgrades, and some purposely glitchy graphics and soundtrack. It may not wow you, but the game is a solid effort for a first paid game from this dev. It's pretty unique, and I'd be keen to see what the dev does next. My main gripe would be that the price is way to high for what you get. I won this in a giveaway, but I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it.3 found this helpful
This roguelike game is an absolute blast! The gameplay loop is infinite, making every run feel fresh and exciting. It’s challenging but in a fun way—definitely rewards quick reflexes and skill development. If you enjoy pushing yourself to improve with each run, you'll love it. Plus, the price is super reasonable for the amount of content and replayability you get. Highly recommended for fans of fast-paced, skill-based games! My new toxic relationship. I'm obsessed, in love, in rage and doing some finger pull ups cause i've been humbeled by the parrying system2 found this helpful
Awesome game! Lots of great pop culture references, creative mix of resource based combat and parry mechanics on a Roguelike. Hardcore mode is quite challenging but was fun to push through to the end. Don't forget to pet the dog, he's a good boy!1 found this helpful
Bot Loop provides a tough rougelike system that has a rough start, but as new mechanics open up, the combat and out of battle strategy improves severely. It's a simple yet addicting game at its core.1 found this helpful
