Like with "real" bowling, the goal is simple: Hit the Pins! BOWLOUT is a singleplayer First-Person-Shooter set in a Pin-infested Bowling centre. Use your many, many Bowling Balls to take them out and destroy their leader in this short but satisfying adventure!

These unique enemies summon more pins. Break them ASAP!FEATURES:
- To ball or not to ball: Chucking balls affects accuracy - adjust your playstyle carefully.
- Who you callin' pinhead: Grab pins for powerful melee attacks or a piercing throw.
- Shower me in medals: Unlock various achievements by playing well... or not so well.
- My eyes are up here: Obtain and equip different ball colors by unlocking achievements.
- A master on the sticks: Use a controller to feel it rumble as you shatter groups of pins.
- All eyes on Deck: While not (yet) verified, BOWLOUT plays great on Steam Deck.

A straight up, good time. Bowlout is exactly what it claims to be, a short, bowling themed first person shooter, with evil bowling pins trying to kill you. Definitely worth a play.5 found this helpful
What a fantastic game, especially for the Steam Deck. It runs smooth and plays well. It's a good looking game and is fun to play, even though it's quite a simple game. Some ideas for future updates: I'd like to see more Todo. A simple multiplayer mode where several players can blast pins. Wave-based survival with progression, such as bowling ball upgrades that increase strength. More maps, maybe bowling alleys in different settings. Highly recommend this game1 found this helpful
Smash pins, get wins. bowlout is a small and simple FPS where you have one gun, a bowling ball. You can fire it by throwing it or bowling it, and if you're near by the plain white pins, you can pick them up to whack other enemies with them. That's the whole game, and you can complete the full campaign in about 15-20 minutes. Even faster if you learn enemy spawn points. This is a free game from a tiny dev team that just wanted to make something fun, and they succeeded. If you want a funny little FPS where you take down pins with a bowling ball, this game is perfect (but also, why did you want that?) Play it, have some fun, and then move on. What more could you want.
See my play time? That's how long it takes to complete the game with about 3/4 of the achievements when you've never played it before and didn't know it was just that damn short.
Really fun and short game. The gameplay is very good and easy to understand. I would love to see more get added to this game. 10/10 will play again
