A Christmas Tale in a Dystopia
When students Graff and Ott are called upon to celebrate "Natal Untail," a corrupted version of Atlasia's ancient tradition, they'll discover that even in this decaying world, the values of sharing and friendship endure as life's greatest treasures.Do I need to play BROK the InvestiGator first?
Nope! This story serves as a prequel to the main game, introducing the characters and explain the game’s terminology. While playing BROK the InvestiGator first provides additional context, this visual novel is a valid entry point into the BROK universe. What is the length?
I have written and made this visual novel in approximately 3 weeks of work, this re-uses a large majority of assets from the main game, and spans about an hour to get through.Accessibility
This visual novel has full accessibility for blind players in English.Special Edition
The original version is free, but the upgraded "Special Edition" of Natal Tail, revisited for consoles, with choices, achievements and new scenes is now also available on PC as a DLC to support the developer!DLC & expansions

Man I always thought that Brok the Investigator would always be the only one of it's kind. I'm glad I was proven wrong with the release of The Brawl Bar and who could forget Natal Tail. Even though you won't get to hear everyone's beautiful voices from the games it's still yet other dive into Atlasia and through a Christmas special no less. I love the interactions everyone has here and how we're finally introduced to Ott's Parents. The fact that there's even a DLC update surprises me but I'm definitely not opposed. I'm definitely going to look forward to playing this again. Keep rocking on COWCATGames!1 found this helpful
It felt like a total nostalgia trip, as almost all the characters from the main game made an appearance, alongside a few new ones. It was lovely to see them again after roughly two and a half years of not playing anything related to Brok
(not counting the *Celsius Strays* demo, since it's not about Brok)
. Additionally, I really liked seeing characters who barely interacted or didn't interact at all in the main game, interacting with each other in this visual novel. I found myself reading the dialogue inside my head, imitating the characters' original voices to make it more enjoyable, haha. In conclusion: a nice, dramatic, and sweet game all at once. 👍
Great fun little free VN in the Brok universe. I loved it. Loved the story and how everything played out. For achievement hunters: note this is the free version, it does not unlock achievements. You need to buy the Special Edition for progression to unlock the in game achievements.
x-- 7/10 --x Really sweet VN that ties in with the main game.
It's free and adds more backgroud story to the game, so, why not play it? 😁 But seriously: It adds some little details that reference the main game. As this plays before the main game, there's no danger of spoilers. I personally would also recommend buying the "Deluxe Edition", as the choices are actually kinda nice and allow me to, a tiny little bit, further fuel my Graff x Ott shipping. 😁 One hour playtime, a bit more if you want all the achivements. But for one of them I'd have to be mean to Ott, so, that'll never happen! 😁 A nice visual novel in the world of Brok and Co. that adds a little nice Christmas feeling. I like it!
Lovely and touching short story of an amazing game that builds upon the rounded characters!
