✦ AI summary

Players praise this tower defense game for its accessible gameplay, attractive visuals, and good variety of towers and maps that offer solid value for the price. However, common frustrations include the luck-based tower upgrade system requiring nine duplicates, unclear UI elements and tooltips, repetitive enemy waves across maps, and barebones settings that reset between missions.

Certainly recommended for fans of tower defense. Worth the normal price and a steal on sale. Even with some areas for improvement it is still one of the best available. Easy to get into, and a decent balance of challenge plus a wide range of towers. I'd also recommend X-Morph Defense and Dungeon Defenders. +Visuals +Tower defense gameplay +Variety of tower types +Variety of upgrades +Benefits for tower factions (elves, archers, etc) +Kingdom levels up for more/better towers +Variety of maps +Content for value -Barebones options/settings -Speed option resets every mission -Towers available are random -Some buttons unclear/lack tooltips -Same enemies and #waves (40) for all maps -Unclear saving/autosave only -Tower upgrades need up to 9 of same random tower -Poor balance on some maps -Repetitive -No new towers between first and last mission -Getting to 4 stars on a mission is tediously difficult -No story

Cool fusion of the tower defence and auto-battler mechanics. Especially like that the game is just the game, no other fuzz or fill. You start the game, you start your first map and you're right into the gameplay immediately.

A new tower defense game which enable you to combine and upgrade the same towers. And new tower spawn out when the situation getting tougher. A game that I highly recommend if you want hour of fun.

A fun, thought provoking game. While it is undeniably a tower Defense game, it feels different in a lot of ways, mostly the pacing. It is certainly one of those game where, once a wave starts, you have almost nothing to do. There is a wide variety of towers, but the way the game is played, it will take a long time before you learn what all of them do, if ever. They each only upgrade twice, with no options to had as they do so, but leveling them is tricky, difficult, and frustratingly luck based, as you need to eventually get nine of any one tower, over time, to get one of them to max level. Not always going to happen. The look is very good, the enemy units having a lot of personality, however I do wish the artist director would have gone with four images per rather than two, for when they are moving directly forward or back. In fact, in a lot of ways the game does feels a bit unfinished. What is there is fun, and I enjoy playing it, but it feels like there should be a bit more too it. For example there is no fluff, something odd given the amount of effort that went into atmosphere. It would really benefit from such basics as a glossary, a monster index and a list of the towe…
