Bronze Hoof

Originally a $1.99 game that went Free. A mouse-only memory platformer where its base gameplay of repeating gets... repetitive.

Very underrated game that does pose a challenge towards the player, however, with time, muscle memory can over come the levels. The art style if spot on and the sound track is very suiting along with the tempo of the soundtracks that matches the speed of the levels. Could be a good contender amongst other game in the same genre unfortunately the game is unknown. Would really recommend if you're up for a challenge

"Bronze Hoof" is a somewhat poor quality 2D retro mobile app endless runner that somehow landed on Steam through Steam Direct. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 12 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Игра "Bronze Hoof" приятно удивила меня своей оригинальной задумкой и необычным сеттингом! Смесь городского фэнтези с элементами славянской мифологии создает уникальную атмосферу, в которую погружаешься с головой. Особенно порадовал проработанный мир и интересные персонажи, каждый со своей историей и мотивацией. Боевая система динамичная и требует тактического подхода, а система развития персонажа позволяет создать уникального героя, подходящего под ваш стиль игры. Однако, не обошлось и без минусов. Графика, хоть и стилизована под ретро, местами выглядит устаревшей. Также, в некоторых моментах сюжет провисает и теряет темп. Но в целом, эти недостатки не сильно портят общее впечатление от игры. "Bronze Hoof" - это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет что-то новое и нестандартное в жанре RPG. Игра предлагает увлекательный сюжет, интересных персонажей и уникальный мир, который хочется исследовать. Рекомендую к ознакомлению!

It's Geometry Dash meets an ancient mythology theme with some twists thrown in. Simple to control, challenging to master. 12 levels, 3 unique bosses. Each level introduces more game mechanics as you progress. Very well designed runner that needs a LOT more recognition. P.S. I think one significant reason this game isn't more popular is because it only has 3 tags. Add the following tags... Side Scroller, Action, Mythology, Arcade, 2D, Singleplayer, Flight, Boss Rush, Magic and Hero Shooter.
