The Game
Brotherhood United is an oldschool Run and Gun game.
The game is inspired by games such as Metal Slug and Mercenary Kings where you have many guns to blast enemies up and a lot of bosses to get defeat.
The story
When the time of crisis comes and one of your friends is captured, you gotta stand your ground and fight for your partners. When someone messes with the brotherhood, you make sure they pay for that, no matter what. In Brotherhood United no partner is left behind. Shoot your way through the hordes of the enemy army, blow them all away, but do it with style, choose your own outfit and make sure they will remember you. Pick your guns and fight giant bosses, but dont forget the beer!

Inspired by Metal Slug, Contra, Mega Man and other action platforming classics, Brotherhood United packs a punch. Of those games, it feels most like Metal Slug: in part due to the mountable vehicles and in part by asking you not only to eviscerate your foes but to save your brothers – you appear to be a member of a bike gang. You can grab upgraded weapons, lob grenades and there’s even an active reload modelled after Gears of War that’ll get you back on offense quicker. This game presents an engaging challenge with a 3 star system and varied bad guys like jetpack joyriders that are hard to nail down. The 3 star system rewards you for killing all foes or saving all bros, for example, providing an additional goal for skilled gamers. There are 20 levels in all, with a total of 8 bosses. Another neat touch is the ability to customize your character. You start with a character editor but pick up equipment along the way that will change your avatar’s appearance. I had a lot of fun with this one. You could feel the inspiration of classic 2D sidescrollers of the past like MegaMan and Metal Slug in the over all game feel and design. I enjoyed the art style of the game, but could see how it might be a turn off for other gamers. If you're an achievement chaser, there is a bit of replayability in this one. Otherwise, it's pretty straightforward in regard to play through time; a few hours of your time will clear the game.2 found this helpful

The controls absolutely ruin this game.
This game is pretty good. It has a combination of Metal Slug and Megaman. Really good mix honestly.
