Camp Hollow

Camp Hollow is an indie survival horror game set in an abandoned summer camp. You play as a security guard whose job is to keep watch over the campgrounds. But, as is usually the case in stories like this, something is bound to go wrong. The story and gameplay are pretty decent. I especially enjoyed the visuals, the fully voiced dialogue, and the overall atmosphere. Yes, the game is quite short, but that's understandable since this is only the first chapter. So I would not consider the short playtime to be a major drawback (unless the upcoming chapters end up being paid. In that case the short length could definitely become an issue). Overall, it's a pretty decent mid-tier indie [strike] mascot [/strike] (feels like) horror game. If you are a fan of the genre, I think you will enjoy it. The devs were kind enough to send a code for this game and I had a blast playing it! The game took around an hour to finish and it was a great experience. It's a mascot horror that brings you into the world of the Camp Hollow summer camp and slowly starts to reveal it's secrets as you explore around! I'm super excited to see more of this game and where the devs go from here with it!

Great story cant wait to see what happens with chapter 2

**10/10 — A Great Start, and I Already Want More** I only have about an hour in **Camp Hollow**, but this is exactly my style of horror game. The **audio design is awesome**. It does a great job of pulling you into the atmosphere and making everything feel more immersive. I also really appreciate that the voice lines were done locally. That's something I love seeing from developers, and it gave the characters a lot of personality. The game also makes great use of **Unreal Engine**. I always enjoy seeing developers continue to explore what the engine can do, especially with horror games where lighting, environments, and atmosphere matter so much. The puzzles aren't overly difficult, and honestly, I like that. They're the kind of puzzles I enjoy in horror games. I would definitely love to see **more puzzles in the future**, but only when they make sense for the environment and story. Don't make something complicated just for the sake of making it complicated. The **characters might end up being one of my favorite parts**. I already loved the first one we meet, and I'm really interested to see how crazy the cast gets and how many more characters are introduced as the game grows. …

I enjoyed the game. The stylized environment was nice. It wasn't to difficult but had some tense moments. It is a bit short but thats typical for these types of games. Looking forward to the next.
