Players appreciate this relaxing fishing game for its calm atmosphere, enjoyable exploration, and soothing soundtrack, with many finding it a pleasant way to unwind. However, opinions diverge sharply on value and depth—some feel it's a satisfying experience for the low price, while others find it too short and lacking in meaningful progression systems, with occasional frustrations around fishing mechanics and missing content discovery.
A game for the one with patience... Which should be obvious considering you are here to fish! You can also explore the island and do mini-quests... I don't really know if they give you anything though, apart from the ones that are for Achievements. I couldn't find the last board and every fish I try (in deeper waters), swerves to the right and disappears on me. XD (And yes... I do have all the YARNS!) But like I said, a game of patience. One day, one can find that Legendary Fish... And maybe that one last board! :> :)5 found this helpful
A decidedly calm and easy-looking experience, coupled with the frustrating room for a lot more and a slight empty feeling. A game I will unfortunately not recommend despite it’s potential. Nice premise but just does not reach the standard I expect for a £3.99 game. 2.5 Out Of 5 <- Full Review Being Moved, Keep Your Horses Held. Nice relaxing game to play and the mechanics of the fishing really keeps you going and finding all the hidden items and puzzles were great as well. If you want a nice fishing game with not too much story this is the game for you.1 found this helpful
TLDR at the end of the review. This is a chill, exploration game. It is short, you can get 100% completion in one hour. Before I played this game, I was having a pretty bad game, but this game helped make my day a little bit better. You are an adveturer searching for legends and new experiences, and that's when you arrive to the island in search of a legendary fish. The story is pretty simple and childish, but it doesn't worsen the experience. Gameplay: It's okay, sometimes it feels a bit luck based, but if you use some technique you can easily catch any fish. The exploration is pretty good and smooth, allowing you to enjoy the island. The sound and music of the game are really really good, since they are really immersive and help improve the experience. There is a save function if you want to play the game in more than one sitting, although I would recommend playing it all at once since it is pretty short. It may be just a bit too expensive for it's playtime, I would recommend getting it on a discount, even if it is just a 20% discount. Some tips: -You can change the graphics on the options menu. They are low by default. -Get some yarn balls before catching fish. It makes it …
