Cat Mirror is a clever indie puzzle game that takes a very simple gameplay idea and turns it into a surprisingly challenging and rewarding experience. Developed and published by Zindie Game Studio, the game revolves around controlling two cats at the same time through mirrored movement mechanics that constantly force players to think carefully about positioning, timing, and spatial awareness. What initially appears to be a relaxing and minimalist puzzle game slowly evolves into a mentally demanding logic experience built around precision and careful planning. Very fun, I loved its mechanics and minimalist aesthetics.

Although there is only the option to have the music on or off, I loved this from the jump. I turned on an album and went about moving the two cats around to meet up. I was expecting a similar experience as with this dev's other game, but was pleasantly surprised on how different the two offerings are. This exercised my brain in an enjoyable way with having to plan ahead both paths in order to come together in the end. I do wish you could use the keyboard and not just a controller though. I do plan on getting cozy soon with my steam deck to see how playable this is.
