✦ AI summary

Players praise this point-and-click adventure for its imaginative story, striking art style, tight controls, and well-paced gameplay that doesn't overstay its welcome. The main criticism is that the game is quite short (2.5-4 hours) for its price point, with some feeling the puzzle difficulty is on the easy side, though others appreciate the accessible challenge and focused narrative.

That was a really nice game. Final answer did not make much sense but I guess it doesn't matter much, rest of the game was pretty swell👍 I enjoyed this universe a lot

Cat's Request is an indie point-and-click adventure that combines a futuristic cyberpunk setting with a surprisingly heartfelt mystery centered around an unlikely hero. Developed and published by BOV, the game follows Ash, an alien cat living in a technologically advanced city where artificial intelligence plays a major role in everyday life. What begins as a simple investigation soon develops into a larger narrative involving a dangerous computer virus, the fate of digital beings, and the hidden truths lurking beneath the city's polished surface. The premise immediately stands out thanks to its unusual protagonist and its blend of science-fiction themes with classic adventure game design. The game's story is one of its strongest qualities. Players are tasked with uncovering the source of a virus that threatens sentient programs throughout the city, creating a mystery that gradually reveals deeper questions about technology and existence. The writing succeeds in making the world feel larger than the immediate plot, presenting a society where artificial intelligence and organic life coexist in complex ways. As Ash investigates various incidents and meets a colorful cast of characte…

Unfortunately I'm not able to recommend a game, which costs almost 9 bucks and is completed in 4 hours.
Good short fun

Summary ; TLDR
Best out of the three. Solid improvement from game mechanics to visual and audio design. Although a bit shorter (rough >2.5hr) playthrough I thought it helped the story not be too complex and dragged out. A stellar piece and a high recommendation.
Game play
Honestly a lot better than it's predecessor 'Detective from the Crypt'. The controls feel tight as well as the game mechanics. The game has fluid dialogue and progression and every movement, item and conversation has meaning. I liked the mechanic of going into people's subconcious and how it tied in later on. The only thing that could have been more clear was the "hacking" ability. I didn't realise you could do it till the end of the game and pressing it doesn't feel satisfying. Having a little mini game e.g. interaction quick time event or just a sequence of buttons to press could have made it all the more fulfilling. The UI for the inventory is still disgusting but it seems to be their MO. I just wish it wasn't a large system console looking thing. As well as, when you can finally move around easier, it would be nice to have actual names rather tha…
