Game breaking bugs. I couldn't use the terminal to craft an item at Charles's Workshop to repair BB. There are too many puzzles as well, disrupting the narrative of the game. Sad this game cannot live to it's full potential.6 found this helpful
I really wanted to like this game. I love its sci-fi world and beautiful neon-lit art style, but it has a lot of problems. The main storyline is bland and predictable. However, I did enjoy the detective horror aspect of the game: uncovering the truth, investigating mysteries, and learning more about the world. My biggest issue is the constant shift in tone. The game tries to tell a dark detective horror story, but then adds comedy that feels out of place. The cat sections are a good example. I like cats, but here they don't fit the atmosphere the game is trying to build. The AI ghost introduced in Chapter 3 is also mainly there to explain parts of the lore and world that the main character doesn't understand. Another problem is the supporting cast. In my opinion, these characters should have been introduced at the beginning of the game, so I would care about them more by the end. The side quests are terrible. They waste your time and offer no meaningful reward. Sometimes you help someone, then they immediately ask for another favor, and after doing everything, you receive literally nothing. The pacing is weak too. Chapters 1 and 2 are slow and boring, while the detective story…2 found this helpful
Get passed the few woke agenda elements in the game, and you're left with something beautiful. Loved the game honestly. Bought it a very long time ago on a whim, and forgot I had it in my library. So I decided: "Let me try it out!". No regrets honestly! The story and the puzzles are the games most apparent strong suits. How everything works initially looks basic, but actually is wonderfully complex in its own way (i.e. The puzzles to be more specific). The amount of fun a 1 GB game could give you genuinely surprised me. Did face a few bugs in the game (e.g. Screen going black even though you can hear the game in the background, and see the pause screen menu), but nothing a quit/load game didn't fix. Art style? Pixelated goodness! Runs smooth as well. Dialogue? Nonexistent. Get your reading glasses on. Definitely recommending this game to any fan that likes anything to do with "cyberpunk"'ish story driven type of games.
very cute mystery. played it on the steam deck. i would say its the rigth length for what it's aiming to do.
Ask for a refund if it's not too late.
Buen juego. Dura lo sufienciente, la historia puede parecer sencilla pero funciona. Buenos persojanes y al final se resuelve el misterio, bueno una parte no porque al parecer puede haber una secuela.
