Tried playing this originally in 2017 and quite frankly the only reason I tried picking it back up again in 2018/2024 was because I wanted to try and complete it.... but it genuinely is so boring I lost interest immediately. Decided to literally force myself to 100% it today so it could stop sitting in my library as uncompleted. Not to mention if you uninstall the game all the progress you had with unlocking baskets/ wallpapers/ coins/ ect completely gets deleted which is a huge motivation killer. Especially with how hard and tedious it is to get coins here, I honestly thought it was harder to get coins than actually reach 5k points. I also don't understand why there's only one achievement where it tells you to save coins but the rest are to spend them...? I definitely agree with others that I've seen say it should be changed to spend that many rather than save them. Cute game in premise, but it genuinely as I said is so very boring and I would not recommend it.

Catch a Falling Star, developed by Alister Software and published by Back To Basics Gaming, is a straightforward arcade-style game built around a single, easy-to-grasp concept: move a basket and catch falling stars. Designed as a casual, pick-up-and-play experience, it embraces simplicity over complexity and aims to provide a relaxing distraction rather than a deep strategic challenge. The game positions itself as a lightweight score-chasing title that players can enjoy in short sessions without a steep learning curve. The core gameplay revolves around lateral movement across the bottom of the screen as stars descend from above. Your objective is to catch these stars before they fall past your reach, gradually filling your basket. Once filled to a certain threshold, you must deposit the collected stars at designated sides of the screen to secure the points. This added deposit mechanic introduces a mild layer of risk management, as holding too many stars without banking them leaves you vulnerable to losing progress if you miss key catches. The system is intuitive and immediately understandable, allowing players to focus on timing and positioning rather than mastering complicated ru…

I don't know how to play this one. It's harder than Dark souls

An easy-to-pick-up arcade game that came bundled with Star Chronicles: Delta Quadrant for just 1,00€, making it a great deal. However, it becomes repetitive and reaching 5,000 points is very difficult. Despite that, it's still a decent and inexpensive game worth recommending.

A nice little game in which you catch falling stars using a basket (and other recipients such as a suitcase). Every time a star is not caught, a life is lost. The one minus is that only the speed power-up is worth buying and you can only activate it once per game session. Some tips: avoid the Slow Stars power-up, you don't want two stars to appear at the same time. Also, don’t rush to the edge of the screen to get a star that will crash into a wall and is therefore unobtainable.
