✦ AI summary

Players appreciate this as a casual time-waster with satisfying progression mechanics and meaningful upgrades that encourage replaying, though opinions on value are divided. Common criticisms include the game feeling unoriginal within the survivors-like genre, relying too heavily on RNG for difficulty scaling, lacking an endless mode for extended play, and some players finding the $5 price point difficult to justify given the limited content. Overall, it's seen as a decent few hours of entertainment that doesn't innovate significantly but delivers competent roguelike gameplay.

For lack of a better option, I'll label this as recommended. But it would be better described as "A fine game where you're not missing out if you don't buy it." For the price, it is a reasonable buy that is enjoyable for a few hours and doesn't have any egregious issues. That said, it's not a particularly innovative game and doesn't contribute anything specifically new to the genre of "action roguelike" or "survivors-like." It also fails to take some key lessons from other, more successful entries. While upgrades are all generally meaningful and useful in their own way, the limited amount of level ups you experience due to the more fixed nature of runs means that, most of the time, there will be a clearly superior upgrade. For example, you would essentially never take additional HP or cooldown reduction when you have additional orbit on offer for that particular ability. Adding to the issue is the lack of a banish/reroll system. Some weapons also simply play better than others. The Orbit ability, for example, relies heavily on getting the "correct" upgrades early. Shells, on the other hand, could probably polish off an Easy run with no upgrades whatsoever. This isn't a damage/b…

First of all, great time waster and sometimes ball clenching. I have 3 gripes about this game though: 1. The harder difficulties heavily rely on you getting dogwater RNG on upgrades to be more difficult. 2. Upgrades sometimes dont apply to your creature, I notice this happens when Im holding down a movement key while clicking an upgrade 3. I wish there was an infinity mode in the game; the funnest part about games like these is when you've got 20 upgrades bought and mowing down enemy hordes in seconds. All in all, 4/5

Simple game that makes you excited to start another run with that shining, new part you just got from a previous run. Highly recommended!

Fun but completely luck based (both the upgrades and bosses)
