I feel there is definitely inspiration taken from Feed and Grow Fish and I love that. The grind is real in this game to get the better fish, but once you do it's worth it. I would absolutely love a freshwater map though, dev please work on that in the future?…
this game is very fun, and a good way to get that Feed and grow itch that i missed out on. i really like the obscure choices for some of the NPC fish, especially in the prehistoric map. that being said, this game definitely shows it's rough edges. the balancing is very bleh, most abilities are ass and feel disjointed from the animals. the animals themselves are generally fine, although alot of the higher level mobs spawn in waaaay too large of clumps, making attacking them for unlocking to be a pain in the ass, even if you're significantly higher level. mobs too i feel can tend to be kinda stiff animationwise, and the lack of alt skins for most feels really odd. evolution mode feels unfinished, with some weird gaps and oversights, like modern animals being in the evo chain despite being on the paleo map. speaking of maps, the maps rn are very same-y for the mostpart and have alot of the same places just in a modern or general paleo coat of paint. i will say though, they are HUGE and fun to explore; although i do wish we had some more for different environments, like a few freshwater ones, a couple arctic ones, and a few different paleo ones. the sounds and visuals too do need tweak…
i love this game and i feel like it has a great future the only problem is nothing i truly love this and how we are trying to bring back feed and grow fish.
simple and fun game. lots of updates
Something between an upvote and downvote. Feels unfinished. Its okay for maybe a couple hours. You can play more to unlock the different playable creatures, but you soon realize that they all feel almost identical to play. Feels like there is little to any depth to the game as a whole, any of the mechanics or creature behaviours. I did like to swim around in the water for abit and eat a bunch fish though, occupied me for the day.
