About Centralia: Homecoming
Explore the abandoned town of Centralia to uncover the truth behind a catastrophic underground fire and your wife's mysterious disappearance in this atmospheric survival horror game. Navigate shifting environments filled with puzzles, enemies, and environmental storytelling as you search for answers in a town consumed by inexplicable horror.
Based on true events which occurred in the town of Centralia, Pennsylvania.
I lived an ordinary life, a job, a loving wife, a lovely daughter. I could not imagine what was going to happen on that fateful day in May of 1992.
My name is Henry Nelson, and I am going to tell you my horrifying story. My wife disappeared without a trace 7 years ago. A catastrophic accident took place in the small inconspicuous town of Centralia. An underground fire started, engulfing the coal deposits beneath the town. The greedy town authorities had dug so deep that according to rumors they unearthed something horrifying and very bad. According to some the terrified miners in their panic caused the underground fire. They say that almost everyone close to the epicentre of the find went insane. Centralia turned into a ghost town.
Only a small number of the townspeople were rescued, including my daughter Shirley. At the time of the tragedy I was away on a business trip. After the catastrophe it felt like my daughter was replaced. We moved to a neighbouring state. Today, on her birthday I went into her room and found a note which she wrote. It said that she was going to Centralia to find her mother. And I followed after her!

If you're a Silent Hill fan and can grab this game at a low price, you're in for a treat. Centralia, the real-life town that inspired Silent Hill, is the backdrop here, which adds a cool layer of authenticity. It's a Z-tier indie game, sure, but it's surprisingly playable and has enough charm to keep you hooked for a bit. Theres a prologue game for this on the store too.3 found this helpful
Centralia Homecoming is a bad silent hill rip off. The plot is basically the same. A man’s daughter is lost in a spooky town and he has fight through its forces to save her from further danger. 1st off, Asset flipping. I wouldn’t even care that this dev’s games are all just asset flips if he wasn’t using the same exact assets in every project. So same pistol, same shotgun, same AR, same desks, and same number locks as seen in 90% of this guy’s previous titles. 2nd, nearly everytime you walk out of a building, there’s a huge performance drop for a few seconds. 3rd, a lot of environmental details don’t make sense. For one, the lighting in Centralia is a dark brown, but when you enter a building, the lighting outside is blue. The lighting on the menu screen is also Blue. Also in the apartments, you’ll end up seeing beds in the kitchen area. 4th problem, when reloading the shotgun, 8 shells will be loaded into the gun regardless of how many you still have in the chamber so if you want to go ahead and reload the shotgun instead of using your last few shots and then reloading it. You have to wait for 8 shells to be loaded into the gun even if you don’t have room for 8. 5th problem. When …1 found this helpful
Not bad for something made by mostly done by one person. The town looks really good.
Soo bad, nothing good about this game, just graphics.
There's supposed to be sex in this game, but it's pretty good
Immersive atmosphere and intense storyline will have you hooked from the start. The top-notch voice acting and eerie visuals really bring the horror to life. With a variety of challenging enemies and puzzles, the game keeps you engaged and on your toes. And the gripping mystery will keep you playing until the very end.
