About Ceress and Orea
Ceress is sentenced to death for being in love with the oracle Orea.
But stubborn as she is, she calls out to an old deity, demanding a chance to change this unrighteousness.
Can Ceress overcome death to be reunited with the woman she loves?
After Ceress is sentenced to death, she's thrown into an abyss. As she awakens she finds herself within a cave system, which soon turns out to be the realm of an old deity.
Ceress will have to prove herself worthy by traversing this death realm and solving the puzzles ahead of her, to finally get back into the world of the living and to return to her love Orea.
Along the way the player can discover several of Ceress’ memories.
Ceress and Orea is a bit of an adventure, a bit walking sim and a bit puzzler.
And of course a love story!

Ceress and Orea is...
- a short journey, which can be completed in one session. (Playtime approx. 60 min.)
- a soothing adventure. Well, for the most part.
- an atmospheric game.
- a game with puzzles.
- a game without battles.
- a game about the love of two young women.
- a simple, linear game. (One ending)
- a game with an original game soundtrack, composed by Ryan Fogleman.

beautiful art, and pretty simple um love story, just shadows chasing you were terrifying for no reason1 found this helpful
Short but sweet game about lesbian romance. Its about 2 women who love each other a lot and will go to any lengths to be together. Its more of a puzzler story game though. No real rpg elements, but it does the rpg maker genre well. Full crystal clear resolution, cute graphics, and a great soundtrack. Seriously i just bought it for the cover art which looked nice. But it was actually not a bad game at all, kind of inspiring. Worth the time investment if you got a buck to spare and want something romantic. I love lesbians.1 found this helpful
I like this game! It's short and sweet as well as simple puzzle game about Ceress trying to leave an otherworldly cave to get back to Orea.
It's a cute minimal story in a cool minimal game. I love non-combat rpg-maker games.
It's a cute and short game. I bought it five years ago, just had time to actually play it. It's about a girl named Ceress coming back from death from to reunite with her lover Orea. I recommend it, it's just 2 dollars (at the time of me writing this) and at most one and a half hours anyway.
RPG Maker strikes again! "Ceress and Orea" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. In this case it does appear some of the assets are bespoke, but not many... the majority still seems to just be flipped assets from Kadokawa. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and n…
