Chameleon Run Deluxe Edition is one of those games that proves a simple idea can become something remarkably engaging when executed with precision and style. Developed by Hyperbolic Magnetism in collaboration with CINEMAX GAMES and published by CINEMAX GAMES, it takes the familiar auto-running formula and transforms it into a tightly focused platforming challenge built around instantaneous decision-making. There is no elaborate story, no sprawling world, no lengthy tutorials—just a character sprinting forward, forced to leap, dash, and change color at split-second intervals to survive. That stripped-down design feels intentional rather than minimalistic, as though the developers wanted every element to serve the rhythm and momentum of the gameplay. The key mechanic—switching the runner’s color to match the platforms—is deceptively straightforward, yet it becomes increasingly demanding as levels grow more intricate. This creates a flow state rarely seen in platformers; after a few attemp…1 found this helpful
Excellent mix of platforming and the once-popular "endless runner" genre. The color-switch mechanic enables surprisingly deep movement physics, making this easy to learn and hard to master (if you want to go for full 100% completion). The fact that the individual challenges all work well on their own, getting progressively tougher but always remaining fair, speaks to the excellent level design. Some mechanics could have been explored a bit further (mainly thinking of the slow motion extra), but I'd rather be left wanting a bit more – which this game definitely managed. Highly recommended!1 found this helpful
its a nice game to grind, and repeat the levels until you finish each objective

so much fun precision platforming. Well thought through mechanics. It's very minimal though. I bought it at 77% discount.
Game was really fun. Each run through was good, loved the variety of ways they made you navigate through levels. Loved the colour switching, and the speed boost for well timed switching. Loved the (mostly creative) bonus stars, making you play the levels differently. Haven't had so much casual-ish fun in a while
