Blender Cube vs Blender Cone the game. I mean look at this. Game of the year. Consider itch.io for this quality of content for free. And also exhibit A of how steam review system is still broken.2 found this helpful
The overall progression as an arena shooter with the different guns, perks and powerups to unlock made for a fun experience. The breakable environments are pretty fun. The game itself is made in the Unreal engine, so there's a certain charm to how well and simultaneously poorly designed it is when you consider it's not just a Unity asset flip. But it's also extremely janky, especially with some of the coding elements on the achievements. You need to download the PAK file in Steam guides to access all the bosses since one of the stages is glitched, and this messes up some of the other achievments. I had to delete the file and reinstall the game several times to get the achievements to pop, but ultimately they all work. Also, some of the conditions for unlocking the achievements are ridiculously coded, like for the "score attack" achievements you have to wait for a bunch of enemies to populate and then kill as many as possible in the last ten seconds once you are over the required score threshold to finish the level.
More ambitious than Ninja Stealth 3 yet it fails to deliver on every front. I do NOT recommend.

While it wears its simplicity on its sleeve, Chaos Town delivers a level of kinetic energy and visual satisfaction that makes it a fun and cathartic experience, even if it doesn’t aim for much beyond pure destruction. The gameplay is immediate and accessible, relying on straightforward movement, shooting, and dodging mechanics. Players move through a series of arenas and open areas, clearing waves of enemies and racking up points while avoiding incoming fire and explosions. The control system feels tight and responsive, which is crucial for a game that thrives on speed and precision. The destructibility of the environment is one of its most appealing features—barrels explode, walls crumble, and cover di…
