About Haos

What is Haos?

A chaotic fast-paced top down shooter in a procedural generated arena with a unique neon style! Enter the "haos", kill enemies, collect fragments, upgrade your character, dive into a more challenging depth for more drops, repeat endlessly.
Arenas are 100% procedural generated making every run unique and random.
When killing enemies there is a chance to get a completely random power up making even more unique and random.
Every run takes around 2 minutes so this game is perfect even if you don't have much time to spend for a game session.

What is the goal?

The goal is to achieve the highest haos (arena) depth you can.
Higher depths are more challenging because enemies have more, how can u survive and succeed?
Killing enemies will give you XP to level up your character so you have more health and deal more damage.

The game is good, if you want to have some quick fun and you like bullet hell's I would recommend this game. I think there are a few draw backs though, there is not a big variety of enemies to fight at least not at the beginning of the game, the enemies very between size which can get annoying because you have to run into one of the enemies and take damage to kill it if you don't upgrade your range. There is only one song that plays at the start of the game that plays and that's the song in the video up above. That is pretty much what I had to say about this game, I would like a "damage" or "health" stat but I guess you get stronger and your hp resets when you beat a level, which brings me to my next point. I do like how you can choose to go to the level you died on and try and beat it again but I think that also kinda takes some of the fun away from the game. and if you actually read all of that good for you, I had this game on my wish list waiting for it to come out on steam, I love the neon style and the enemies are also neon. In general the game is fun and I think its worth the 5 dollars or how ever much you paid for it or if you get the game for free even better. sorry for g…

"Haos" is a weak ripoff of Asteroids/SpaceWar!, trying to ape the success of "indie" garbage like Geometry Wars without considering Geometry Wars already exists (and, unsurprisingly, this inferior rip-off failed incredibly hard on Steam Direct). What do you do in the game? Very poorly done top down arcade Asteroids-like shooting. This comes across as something unambitious and "simple" in terms of implementation and technical quality and depth, more like a game dev tutorial or an experiment. It’s a classic case of a developer prioritizing the low effort needed to get a game listed on Steam over the actual delivery of a technically sound or compelling product. Whatever is needed to hammer out something "good" enough for Steam Direct self-publishing. The graphics here are particularly awful, hideously lazy, ugly looking minimalist "neon" crap, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. …

Originally a $4.99 game that went Free. A pretty boring and hollow experience. The procedural generation creates levels with different wall layouts, which only seems to add the need to run around until you find all the enemies. Upgrading is broken? Or at least wouldn't let me upgrade by the 5th level even though I had the points.
