About Chaos Village

Chaos Village is a top-down chaotic shooter game with various weapons, perks and power ups.

You can try to beat 60 levels of classic gameplay or test your record on Survive mode. At the end of every round, you get experience to level up and unlock new weapons or modifications.

In the customization screen, you can change the way your character looks; different characters and different color patterns.

Chaos Village is a simple multi-directional shooter with essentially one game mode. Achievement seekers will enjoy a straightforward set of level up and completion achievements, but beyond that, there's nothing much to do here.
Pros
+ Upgrades: Perks & Powerups + Large number of weapons to unlock + Destructible environments
Cons
- All stages are the same, apart from lighting & randomized objects - Once you unlock a weapon it's forever in the pool, and supply is total RNG - Very few enemy types - You can only equip 4 perks, rendering extra unlocks meaningless - There's no leaderboards, so there's no motivation to play Survival. - No multiplayer - Low replay-ability - 1 hour gameplay Besides all of the above, the biggest problem with this game is weapon imbalances. Once you unlock a weapon it's forever in the pool, unless you reset your progress. This means that you'll be enslaved to whatever RNG chooses in your supply crates, and most stages aren't long enough to give you more than two chances. My advice? Only get Machino, ignore everything else. Achievement Hunters: I had a a lot of difficulty to actually unlock the stage achievements. Ultimately…

The achievements are simple to get in theory, but in practice they are quite buggy. You will most likely have to play through a few times for those that just fail to unlock. The game itself is very repetitive, all 60 levels are basically the same with just more enemies.

This game is pointless and badly made.

This game is really bad, even for a game under $1. DRIFTER's review is dead on.

Not Recommended ★★☆☆☆ Hours Played: 2.1 Chaos Village is… well, kind of boring. You shoot, you pick up some powerups, you survive a wave, and then you do the same thing again. Over and over. The 60 levels don’t feel much different from each other, and survive mode is just more of the same but longer. The weapons and power ups sound cool, but they don’t really make the gameplay any less repetitive. The customization is there, but swapping a character color doesn’t exactly make things exciting. It’s not broken—it runs fine—but it feels empty. Just the same top-down shooting loop until you stop caring. If you’re looking for something fresh or engaging, this isn’t it.
