This is a very high quality FE-like, with design choices influenced by Berwick Saga, from both unit and chapter standpoint, while eliminating the usual cryptic, random and boring/jank stuff from the Kaga games. Every map is unique, lotsa varied objectives, split parties, you name it! Everything is tightly designed and it is quite challenging, too! Unlike usual FE, there's no Perma-death, however you get a gameover if you lose more than 3 units in a map, and lotsa side objectives do require everyone alive, so you are kinda playing it like a usual FE run. Also level ups are fixed. The game requires you to use everyone, as there are quite a few split party maps - however it gives you an easy way to level up underleveled units using cheap EXP Books. There's also a nice QoL future where you can scout ahead and see what chapters are coming where there's a party split - helps you decide which characters to send where. However that design imo has the downside of making the game feel a bit too linear. There's no choice on who to use, no RNG blessing/screwing, who to bench or what events you get, as every event pretty much happens and you get all characters without any specific requirem…
