At night direct your survivors in taking on the horde. Do you rely on walls and turrets to keep you safe or build an army of eager survivors and go toe to toe with the enemy? One wrong decision could mean the end of civilisation as we know it!Adapt to new challenges by freely swapping between different survivor classes and face off against the unforgiving abominations. Survive long enough to max out your settlement and escape!Take on the role of leader with 3 unique roles: The Commander, Merchant, and Tinkerer. Each with their own abilities and playstyles to shape the economy and the battlefield. So, launch day review. I played the demo, loved the game, couldn't wait to play more. I'm really hoping for some polish and bug fixes to happen soon so I can change this to a positive review. First thing I noticed is that the unit AI for survivors and zombies alike is atrocious. Survivors are in desperate need of a "unit hold" feature so they stay where you put them, because they are more than happy to wander off out of position to create holes in your defense and get themselves killed. Zombies frequently get hung up on random corners and end up running single file into defenses. Some just get stuck and make you hunt them down to end the wave. Next up are the bugs. Survivors are prone to falling through the map at the end of waves, most of the time they respawn after a wave or two, or three... Certain waves will frontload a mini-boss, if you kill it too quickly the wave will end but the game will continue spawning the rest of the wave which will just run up its path and wait until you start the next wave, at which point you'll be dealing with both. As I said, I'm really hoping for some launch week fixes and polish so I can change this to a positive review. I like the general con…1 found this helpful
Not bad, Its simple, but has some depth. Overall, great game, The AI could use some work. but so far no complaints. Great for the price.
