When you have over 2k games in your library you start to appreciate unique games and games that make you stop and think. This minimalist clicker did both for me. It is actually a good representation of how bitcoin mining works, but you would have to already know the process to see it. I have banned my self from playing clickers. They give a false sense of accomplishment over time. It something humans instinctively desire. Supplementing that instinctual drive with a virtual placebo is dangerous for human evolution. However I enjoy idle clicker games because it gives you a second to stop and actually appreciate time rather than simply wasting it. ClickBit got me thinking about the process of mining for bit coins. It is rumored that the very first algorithm to unlocking the “genesis block”, the very first block of bitcoins was just a box. The answer...? Was the same algorithm but the box had no top allowing the bitcoins to be retrieved. From there the algorithms and box shapes became more complicated and boxes now unlocked multiple more complicated boxes. With each block unlocked more and more information or data was needed to open the next. ClickBit visualizes this processes in a fan…4 found this helpful
There is no reason this game should be so grindy.
I like the game, but I don't like how slow the progression is.
Just your average clicker game, but here's the kicker: this is a Clicker with mechanics that are made to stop you from clicking : an Overheating and Storage one, which force players to almost constantly check their screens to optimize their progress, which defeats the casual nature of these types of games and the primal desire to push a button like a madman to see a number go up
After 1MB, the game is over basically. You can barely make progress Would recommend if you have an autoclicker and CE and a lot of time on your hands Like how also the screenshots for the store don't show any further progress than how far I got with an AC twice I like the concept and graphics but it loses its charm after an hour Also it's Unity which justifies my review
