Walk around and look under tables simulator with bad controls. Audio is balancing is bad, some stuff makes the ears pop whilst things like voices can't be heard very well. Un-intuitive controls - why can I only interact with things using my right hand? why not just adopt the teleportation controls that are found in every other VR title instead of using a trigger? Why is the table in the room my inventory system? And why the f*** is a broken light bulb a lock pick.

My first true dud out of all the escape room games. I can't rant about which puzzles were awfully implemented without posting spoilers, so I'll just put a big _no_ here.

A good and challenging escape the room game that shows its age. Teleport is the only movement available, interactions are basic (your controller is blue, turns green when you can interact with something) the inventory system is putting stuff in the desk (designated locations) Voice acting was pretty good, graphics where ok, performance was acceptable. While the puzzles are clever and satisfying to solve... the honest truth is that i was frustrated with the game most of the time and after aimlessly wondering for 20min i decided to not finish the last room. The challenge from this game not only comes from the puzzles, getting access to the puzzles is another puzzle in itself. Like you have to open drawers that dont look like drawers, click on a space in a wall that looks no different to the rest of it to activate something, or have to crawl and look below stuff for a hidden switch to turn on. At one point i was just hovering my hand above every single surface in the room to see if the color changed and i could interact with something hidden. from sight. I would recommend this game at the sale price of $1.99. For a 3-year old VR game, the aesthetics are nice and the puzzles are fairly varied. The game also has one voice actor who does an excellent job, something that is often lacking in other escape room games. However, I do think it is a bit easy and I was able to complete both levels in about 90 minutes (there are actually 3 levels but the first is a quick tutorial). The puzzles rely more on searching than problem solving, so I think it's a good intro to VR escape room games, rather than one that will tax your brain. The game played flawlessly on the Valve Index, and while the teleport and grabbing mechanics are fairly limited, they never felt overly constrictive to me. The game must be played standing, and you must physically turn and crouch at times with no snap turn or accessibility options available (no problem for me but others may have issues with this). There is no settings menu to adjust graphical properties, sound, etc. That said, it seemed like none were needed. Mirror mode worked well for spectators. Sadly, I can't recommend this game. For an escape room game, there is not much actual puzzle solving. It is mostly just finding a well hidden key or well hidden switch. Because of this, it didn't feel particularly satisfying when you complete a level. The style and setting is nice but feels a bit dated. VR controls are not great, it's just push to interact, push to teleport - no locomotion or snap-turning.

I recommend the game though I did find it a little frustrating, graphics are good , but no snap turn means I'm rapping round my cable, don't mind teleport in this kind of game, grabbing objects is a little hit and miss sometimes, enjoyed some off the puzzles but some where a little odd, opening the small box with that kind of object, that just didn't make sense to me, over all a well made game, not quite the room VR or abode 2, more rooms and more to the story would be nice but for the price a very polished game visually, enjoyed the lighthouse puzzle and the way the bulbs reflected light in your field of view a nice touch, played on Rift S with no problems apart from a twisted cable.
