The enemy units become invisible and worse - impossible to kill... seriously?! It feels like a broken unplayable demo. Did not have a campaign, it was bad enough, but the "ghost units" killed it once and for all. I would not advise to buy this game even if it was on 90% sale, to avoid a frustration from the wasted time and opportunity. It is an insult to the players and to the great CC brand.

Mechanics are terrible compared to the other titles in the series. This is just plain bad. The mechanics of the soldier movement are bad, they do not traverse to follow orders. I have been playing this series of games since the early 90s and this one is just not well done.

With no campaign mode this game offers very little. For the fans of the close combat series please save your money and play the classics instead.

All things considered I really do like this game. As it may not be no new/modern strategy game it still holds up for its age and being one of my favorite strategy games I've played yet.. but... For the price: I don't believe it's worth the price it's being sold for. I think there's a way better close combat or other strategy games out there. Would I buy another close combat game?: Definitely, I would love another one.

It's simple and fun, although can be erratic sometimes.

This game gets a bit of a bad rap. Some negative criticisms are valid, such as the graphics being almost 30 years old and an AI that could use a tune up. But if this period and type of warfare are interesting to you, the game is still enjoyable. You have to use a bit of your imagination with the graphics and be prepared that the AI will not push you once you get a hang of the game, but behind all of its faults, it's a really detailed, deep, real time strategy game.
