Players praise the game as a well-designed classic arcade shoot-em-up with impressive graphics, satisfying explosions, engaging boss battles, and solid local co-op gameplay that captures retro shmup vibes. However, several technical issues hold it back: some report significant bugs including control conflicts between mouse and keyboard that crash the game, performance problems, and occasional co-op player control failures, while others note the game feels somewhat unfinished with limited weapon variety, visual contrast issues that make projectiles hard to see, and missing polish in movement me
I really wanted to like it. A linear Shootmup with properly designed levels, no procedural content... sounds great to me! Unfortunately it's buggy as hell. If you select mouse controls (way slower than keyboard even with highest sensitivity), any keyboard controller key crashes the game instantly. And now I made it to the second level and there's the second player always fixed in the center. Soon it gets shot down, and when that happens, 1st player also loses control and soon dies, too. It would be nice, but the bugs make it literally unplayable.3 found this helpful
I bought this game as it caught my eye while browsing the store. What a hidden little gem! It's like a classic arcade shoot 'em up. Graphics, music and sounds are great. Lots of explosions as you try to destroy everything in your path, these can range from attack helicopters, other jets with heat seeking missiles, well-armed attack boats and multiple ground based vehicles, some of these are static and others are mobile. Lots of power-ups as you progress, these will upgrade your firepower and bring in support by your side. Huge bosses to fight, they are well-armed and have different attack methods. A thoroughly enjoyable game :D2 found this helpful
Retro jet fighter arcade vibes in a sexy graphics package. Balanced challenge, decent progression, local coop, and high replayability. 9/10 with the only negative being there was room to add more jets or have a kind of class selection to give players more options.1 found this helpful
Nice mix of classic arcade shmup action (but without credits to make it last longer) with modern graphics. It's reasonably challenging, has a good amount of levels and generally feels quite good. Something like 7/10. What could make it reach that 9-10 area: Better visual contrast - the backgrounds could be a just a little less saturated and some of the enemy projectiles a little larger (and reduce those missile trails by 90%). There is something a little bit lacking in the way the plane moves... I'm not sure what it is, perhaps inertia. Improving that could also improve the game feel. Larger regular weapon variety (check out Aero Fighters 3/Sonic Wings 3). Just visited their website and it mentions those games as inspiration, so it should have been a no brainer. More music variety. I know a shmup doesn't really need it, but a tiny little bit of story could make it more engaging, like have some evil general taunt you before a level/boss battle and then curse when you take that boss down/escape or such. Also, potentially getting rid of the evasion parts in the levels wouldn't be too bad. And, finally, it is super serious overall, perhaps some weird/secret stuff could also have help…1 found this helpful
The game has cool sounds and plays well but seems unfinished. Strange menu design and some poor performance from time to time.
A criminally underrated arcade shooter with lots of snazzy graphics, beautiful levels, and huge explosions. Happily got my £6's worth blowing apart Madeupistan and their ugly super weapons. Shame the developer vanished after this.
