About Thundering Skies
Thundering Skies is a shoot'em up inspired by the 16-bit classics of the genre. Making an appearance are the obligatory fire and ice-themed levels, giant battleships, scratchy voice samples, huge bosses and overpowered weapons that make you feel naked when you lose them - as well some less expected features.

- 6 stages
- 2 game modes: autosave your progress or beat it in one sit with limited credits for an extra score boost
- 4 difficulty levels, including an introductory mode
- 10 Steam Achievements
- Challenging bosses and minibosses

Thundering Skies is a side scrolling retro 2D pixel sci-fi shmup. Hold down the fire button and dodge the bullets, kill the bosses to finish the levels, etc etc. Gameplay isn't terrible but it's not great either. The retro pixel graphics are terrible. Resolution is fixed, and controls can't be customised. It looks like the developers really were trying, at least, but the game falls short of minimum standards.4 found this helpful
