About Code:29
✦ AI summary
Fight your way through a nuclear-ravaged city crawling with mutants as a soldier on a desperate rescue mission, switching between first and third-person perspectives to survive. Uncover the truth behind a catastrophic nuclear leak and discover who's really pulling the strings in this post-apocalyptic nightmare.
This is a single shooter game, there is a first-person perspective and third-person perspective.
You will play a soldier from a laboratory on a rescue mission in a city full of mutants. And find out why the whole story is true.
In July 2025, a serious nuclear leak occurred in JH city, and the government ordered the quarantine of the area.
In September 2025, you are sent to JH City on Mission 29 to investigate and rescue a doctor from the UPC, but the residents there have undergone some kind of mutation and become insane.
Damaged buildings, scattered army equipment, and what seems to be hiding in the darkness.
You look at the smoke-filled nuclear power plant in the distance, and it doesn't seem so simple. Who's lying?

Promising premise and it's all downhill from there. Bugs, glitchy combat, janky-fest traversal. And those are the pros.20 found this helpful
It was.... something.9 found this helpful
This "game isn't worth 8¢, let alone $8. It's a buggy disaster with no options and terrible gameplay. It also, inexplicably, has a special "Superman" zombie that will try to have sex with you rather than kill you. I know that sounds like an exaggeration but I promise it's exactly what happens. More effort was placed on that one enemy than the rest of the game combined, I'm pretty sure the dev made this as a pathetic excuse to live out some weird fetish.6 found this helpful
Still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better than Dying Light 2 did on launch... Would not recommend to most players, but it's not as bad as a lot of players are making it seem. The game isn't really a game-- more of a wet dream some guy probably had and decided to turn it into a game. I actually manage to beat the game and I'll end up going back to it at some point for sure. 6.5/10 at best.1 found this helpful
