About Colorless Life
Colorless Life is a game that tells the story of a man who finds himself trapped in his own depression. Releasing his inner demon, he involuntarily gave him the opportunity to destroy himself from within.
Will Vince go all the way from beginning to end? Could he find a way out of the trap? It depends on you and on what choices you make.
The game is a visualization of an interactive story with elements of a puzzle in gloomy stylistics.

Colorless Life is a really badly made Russian 2D retro pixel "horror" themed side view adventure game where you wander around a colourless environment and plod through an excruciatingly badly written and badly translated adventure game plot. Talk about draining all the fun out of video games. The game also attempts to behave as an armchair psychologist by tackling themes such as suicide. Trying to address social issues through the medium of video games is misguided and can be harmful. While it's plausible to suggest the intention was noble, this can do more harm than good. Game developers are not professionals in areas of mental health and social problems, and when they use video games to pretend they are, this can cause far more harm than good. It's my opinion that it's improper to use video games to push political or social agendas. Apart from the harm such hamfisted attempts at addressing social problems can cause, this offers zero benefit to PC gamers. People suffering from health issues or other social problems should seek out professional help rather than going to crap shovelware video games attempting to get sales by exploiting such problems for their own benefit, as…4 found this helpful

Colorless Life is a short narrative-focused adventure developed and published by HIPIX that centers on themes of depression, emotional isolation, and the struggle to overcome personal darkness. Rather than delivering an action-oriented experience, the game presents a deeply introspective journey that follows Vince, a man whose life has been consumed by negativity after unleashing a sinister force from within himself. The story uses this supernatural concept as a metaphor for mental and emotional suffering, creating a bleak yet thought-provoking experience that seeks to explore the consequences of despair and the possibility of recovery. What immediately stands out is the game's atmosphere. Nearly every aspect of the presentation is designed to reinforce a sense of emptiness and emotional exhaustion. The environments feel detached from reality, often resembling fragments of a troubled mind rather than traditional locations. This artistic direction helps establish a consistent mood that remains present from beginning to end. The title itself reflects the game's central idea, portraying a world stripped of vibrancy and hope as the protagonist struggles to find meaning amid overwhelmi…
The english translation is really ♥♥♥♥
Colorless Life is a poorly translated visual novel, but I personally relate to the story this game is attempting to portray. The setup for this walking simulator is rather... simple. Vince, our depression-inspired protagonist, has been struggling to make life work. However, it appears he had, as he managed to settle down with a wife who gets into a car crash. We look through vince's struggles as he attempts to come to grips with reality, and meet a personafication of vince's depression, who keeps us company. We see Vince's art, and how his storytelling was misunderstood for mindless creativity, and the history of his family, and literally trying to tell the black dog to leave him be.
Summary
Very short point and click narrative about depression with multiple choices and different endings. Pros + Interesting imagery Cons - Bad translation - Difficult to understand
Overview
Colorless Life is a very short point & click narrative that gives you multiples choices to determine the ending of the story, it focuses on depression and working through it. It is an interesting game with fascinating imagery, unfortunately the translation is quite atrocious and makes it difficult to understand the message it's trying to convey and will require some thinking to parse the wording.
