It's hard to describe just how awful this game is compared to Commandos 1 and 2. It lacks the visual charm, it's a mess and clunky af. Just play the first 2 games instead.1 found this helpful

Commandos 3: Destination Berlin is a real-time tactical game made Pyro Studios where you control a group of specialists while completing missions during World War II. The engine is improved from the previous game, now being much more responsive, offering faster movement and a new free camera rotation mechanic. The game is divided into three small campaigns, Stalingrad, Central Europe, and Normandy, each with just a couple of missions on noticeably smaller maps than all previous installments, with mostly objectives reduced to simply eliminating all enemies. The missions are surprisingly uninspiring, with very few requiring you to use more than one commando to complete them, to the point that in the last one you are relegated to using only the green beret. The game clearly opted for a more action-based approach, mostly ignoring the tactical aspect, with half the missions requiring you to beat some obnoxious timer, a herculean task when the game has pretty much eradicated all hotkeys. Not only have the keys vanished, but also basic options like difficulty, resolution, and keyboard setup. Essentially, the third installment of the series is the most frustrating one.
