Conflict 3048 is a real time tactical sci fi game written by Matt Lloyd in 2022.CAMPAIGN
You play as a commander in the invading army on an alien world, documenting your trials and tribulations as you wage war against the alien hordes. Your tour of duty begins in a small listening post near the front lines and soon has you fighting battles against hundreds of aliens in do or die actions.
ARMY FEATURES
At your disposal are infantry with assault rifles, flame throwers, heavy combat shotguns;mechs with laser rifles and flame throwers, medics with the latest in battlefield healing technology and also air support and artillery. Throw into the mix armoured personnel carriers that can fly to anywhere on the battlefield and you've got yourself a force worthy of eliminating the alien enemies.
GAME EDITOR and SCRIPTING
If you tire of the main campaign you can edit the missions with the editor with the touch of a button, or craft your own new campaigns with full scripting support. The scripting, editing and customisation ability is all documented. In fact the game even ships with source code if you wish to make further changes to the game mechanics. Switching between editing mode and play mode is seamless.

I've seen a lot of games like this, and this one has a lot of things you could hate on, but im gonna keep it short. Theres no tutorial And the font sometimes gets unreadeable. I've been playing strategy games since before monitors had more than one color, I can work with anything, but if you are going to make me read to understand my units and what they do, I at least expect the reading to be comfortable.12 found this helpful
"Conflict 3048" is one of those cases where an amateur developer bites off way more than they could chew. This is basically a ripoff of Starcraft, an attempt to make a sci-fi RTS in 2022 that somehow has worse graphics and gameplay than Starcraft. This is, however, worse than Starcraft from Temu. Comically, the developer tried charging money for this, but Blizzard gives away the entire Starcraft game for free, as well as Starcraft II's primary campaign... there's just no reason for this to exist at all. In terms of gameplay this is your usual base building zerg rush (see how Starcraft is so influential that everyone knows what a zerg rush is?) unit management... but there's zero polish, it's a clunky mess. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2026. Interesting to say the least, please change the font and add a tutorial, I was also stuck on the crashed VTOL mission because I didn't know how to proceed using the cargo mech, otherwise good vibes1 found this helpful
