Conflict Area

Conflict Area is an abandoned Early Access asset-flip tier Unreal based PvP FPS, essentially a weak Counter-Strike ripoff. The focus seems to be on PvP (PvE is simply botmatching) which is unfortunate as SteamDB shows the game only collected 9 concurrent players at the very peak, which is a pitiful number not even enough to fill a server. It's impossible to play PvP now as there are no players (for obvious reasons). The game was abandoned roughly 6 months after launch and hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. There's no reliable indication the game will ever be completed, which is a reason for gamers to avoid this. The game looks deceptively decent thanks to Unreal, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game was entirely asset flipped. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. A dead early access game that hasn't been updated since 2021 that looks like wannabe CS:GO. The bots in the game are terrible too, no idea how this has "positive" reviews. Works fine on Linux with Proton (5.13-2).

Game has alot of potential, it kind of reminds me of battalion, not so much the dead part but gunplay. Has a call of duty feel, except more to the gun mechanics.

Good game very underrated, the graphics are amazing, but here are things that i think you should change, the snow map seams really uncomplete, you should add textures to some of the building's, the bots are always cramped together which makes it very hard to move and its easy to get lots of kills, the other thing is changing knife, currently the only knife is a Karambit it would be nice if you could add other knife, one more thing is that you should be able to have bots when doing Defusal and be able to change the bots difficulty. That's all, overall the game is amazing and i would recommend it for people who are going to do commentary since kills are very satisfying.

very good game, quick to load, fast, great graphics, FREE, good playability. The game is like COunter STrike, but faster, better, you can play online or local with BOTs APPROVED!
