About Connor's Desert Adventure

Connor's Desert Adventure is a side-scroller game where you play as a mexican character and run on a path where there's huge tumbleweed that will slow you down.
With every tumbleweed you pass, you will get one score and you can compete with yourself with the built-in highscore system.

The goal of this game is to compete with yourself.

To control your character, you will have to slide by pressing S or jump by pressing SPACE.

Cheap and super easy to accomplish to 100%, i would recommend. Don't expect a big game, only a game for achievements.

Connor's Desert Adventure is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple Unity 2-button endless runner, and the developer seems to have come up with their own MS-Paint tier "art", to give it a Mexican/desert theme. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. Next to no professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip.

There is no overarching narrative or world-building to contextualize the run, but the minimal framing allows the game to focus entirely on moment-to-moment input and reaction. The gameplay loop is intentionally stripped down to its essentials, relying on just two core actions: jumping and sliding. These actions are mapped to simple keyboard inputs and must be executed with precise timing to avoid incoming obstacles. Each successfully dodged tumbleweed adds to the player’s score, encouraging repeated attempts to beat personal bests rather than progress through structured levels. This design choice firmly places Connor’s Desert Adventure in the tradition of classic arcade score-chasers, where master…

I think this is the fastest game I played to completion. It took me a whopping 3min. You jump over small tumbleweed and slide under big ones. That's the whole game.
