Meander Land is a short-and-sweet 2D platformer inspired by the monochromatic handheld games of the late 80's and early 90's. In it, you play as Corylus Flint, a young man armed with a bottlecap gun and his wits! Your overall goal in each stage is to battle the enemies along your path and reach the door at the end. Features And Mechanics:- Run-And-Jump your way through 12 stages, plus a few alternate paths!
- Make your way past enemies and face off against three diabolical bosses!
- Collect bottlecaps scattered throughout each level and fire them from your trusty bottlecap gun to defeat tricky enemies!
- Unleash the power of the Coyote Jump: press the jump button at any point after running off a ledge for a mid-air boost!
- Jump on enemies' heads to to bounce yourself up to higher places!
The History
In 2013, Super Anjelo Province was released. This game was made to tie the worlds of the Super Anjelo Land and (what would become) Meander Forth together. Over time, however, the creative vision for the two games shifted, leaving Province a bit of an orphan project.For the game's 10-year anniversary, Super Anjelo Province was remastered into Meander land. This updated version features a rewritten story, new original characters, a new soundtrack, and a myriad of other tweaks and improvements!Improvements

It's a cute little game, and for just a buck you can't expect too much. Pros: -pleasant -easy -offers a bunch of palette options -does a decent job of emulating early GB titles -cheap Cons: -short: It's about 20 minutes long and has very little progression or variety in its levels. -basic: It doesn't do anything interesting with any of its mechanics. -bland: Characters are sort of flat and unmemorable, dialogue fails to be interesting. It's a toss up. is it especially bad? no, it's decent, but there's not much reason to recommend it either.2 found this helpful

Very simple, super short classic platforming: Jump on enemies, collect coins(er, bottlecaps?), shoot coins, and don't fall into pits. It also has a RIDICULOUS amount of color schemes you can switch on the fly with LB/RB. The only gripe I have is super minor: to progress a conversation, you have to press Right instead of hitting A, which is what I'm used to. It's fun, it's a buck, get it.1 found this helpful
It's an overly simplistic game that's imitating an old Gameboy platformer. All you do is move and jump, at one point you can attack with coins but I'm not sure if you do this for the entire game. I found it way too easy and would've preferred if it was longer and limited the player to three lives, but the presentation is good and it does feel a lot like a classic gameboy game, albeit a little bit too loose with the movement and nothing frustrating to make you feel like you've accomplished anything. You can change the color patterns at any time to pick one you like (Kind of like playing a Gameboy Advance game on Gameboy)1 found this helpful
