About Conundrum 929
Conundrum 929 allows players to experience an mesmerizing internet mystery. It has drawn inspiration from multiple real internet mysteries such as the famous Cicada 3301. The game features a replica of a real browser which allows you to navigate between different pages which have also been inspired by real ones.
The game features four different levels of difficulty ranging from complete beginner to genius. Depending on the selected level of difficulty it allows the player to look at hints that either explain the riddles very extensively or not at all.

Players report that this puzzle game has interesting ARG-style concepts but suffers from unclear mechanics and unintuitive puzzle design that creates frustration rather than engagement. The difficulty stems from ambiguous instructions about how to interact with the game world and obscure cipher-based puzzles that feel more tedious than rewarding, leading some to abandon it early despite appreciating the genre.
I simply havent been able to play it, it seems. Here's how my minimal experience with the game been: I initially set my difficulty to hard since I know how to navigate the internet and Im kinda familiar with some ARG/internet riddles. Reading the comments my first instinct is to try to user the search bar to read more about Futhark runes, typing it in there makes nothing happens. I think "oh well I probably need a full url". So I try to think "hey since 'reddit' is renamed 'reding', there's probably an alt name for wikipedia or google and i need to find to be able to type like "http/wikipedia/Futhark" or whatever. So I try to click the username to see if I can bring posts mentioning it. Nothing. Maybe the names aren't clickable because the games expect you to type the urls yourself so I go and type manually "https://www.reding.com/u/Thunderinbolt97". Nothing happends still! A bit annoyed I decide to switch difficulty all the way down to easy to have a feel of how things are set up and how the hint system works. the hint is "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elder_Futhark". Im like "oh okay so there wasn't an alt…2 found this helpful
I really enjoy puzzle games, but this one was far-fetched and a bit tinfoil hat for me. I really tried to get into the game, but it was mostly just boring and uninspiring crypto puzzles using various ciphers and methods for obfuscating text. meh.
