Dexter is a 17 year old boy from New Orleans, he found an article online about a group called The Katydids. By further investigating he starts to solve riddles and puzzles created by this mysterious group and eventually finds out what is going on behind the internet curtain.
The game is based around a virtual operating system, with programs and files to explore, the atmosphere is mysterious and scary.
Solving the puzzles proposed by the Katydids requires you to explore, take notes and use your apps in your favor.
The graphics are minimalistic to mimic modern operating systems and the content found in the game is inspired by real stories.

The main part of the game has you exploring a fictional titular website with an in-game browser, where each page gives you hints on how to access the next page until the ultimate password on that website. So that part of the game is essentially a sequential series of puzzles, which are fairly diverse, with some good original ones. Occasionally the puzzles will have you cross referencing with some other fictional websites, but rarely will you have to make multiple web-page hops to make an inference. There are also some puzzles, mostly at the beginning, related to managing your fictional PC before you can access the main katydids website. All in all it was fun and the puzzles are very fair.1 found this helpful

Love everything about this, my only complaint is its too short but i got the game on sale so i can't complain much about that. A good few hours of gameplay here on a retro desktop which is nice.
Couldnt play it cus im on ultrawide and it dosent work on ltrawides but i feel like it had potential so still good review
None of the puzzles really hold your hand. I wanna say there's only one that's kind of obtuse (or should I say, nothing is kind of obtuse) but apart from that one, everything else was phenomenal
The puzzles aren't too bad, though you might want to have your real-life internet up for some of them. There are some flashing text jumpscares/jump scares, but they're not to loud-- just green text with static noises. You can get all the achievements very easily.
