Great sonic/mario like platformer, super hard too

This game is so cute!!!!!!

This game came up algorithmically in the discovery queue for me. While there's an onslaught of roguelite trading card "pick 3" titles, Coraroc broke through the barrier with its "game recognizes game" content. You play the knock-off reddit logo while freeing other redditors. It plays like SMB1 and even comes at a price point of purchasing multiple cousin titles in the early aughts.

A fun, bite sized platformer you can complete in about an hour. Has collectable elements a la Yoshi's Island, so if you're a completionist it'll probably take about double that time (it did for me, at least). Of course with most collection based platformer games the true challenge comes from getting everything in a level, and at times it can be tough (there's a stage about halfway through that caused the majority of my deaths, as for why I'll keep a secret.) but nothing too overwhelming. Just remember that every level has twenty coins and one singing creature to destroy and eventually you'll figure it out. If even that isn't enough there are hard mode versions of the levels and a time attack mode. So Coraroc has more to chew on than meets the eye. Eye is a palindrome.

Very fun and simple platformer with a lot of personality from the art to the music to the story! A nice little adventure that is both challenging yet relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience a slice of retro platforming in the modern age!

Tight platforming, and the soundtrack is INCREDIBLE why isn't it on Bandcamp yet.
