It's a very well made and enjoyable game, with cute enemies and a colorful look. The enemies in this game are defeated non-violently, so it's a very lovely game for children. The puzzles in this game include simple navigation, complex paths to unlock doors, use pressure plates and switches, targeting, navigating through different slimes, finding the different colors, combining them and more! I absolutely enjoyed the game, the first garden was rather simple, but it was clearly meant as a "teaching the basics" kind of stage. I picked up Corbid A Colorful Adventure during a sale for just a few dollars, so I wasn’t expecting much—but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. This is clearly a small indie game with a handcrafted feel. It isn't the most polished experience, but it has a lot of charm if you enjoy its colorful, vibrant art style. I didn't think Corbid was especially cute at first, but the character really grew on me over time. The mechanics aren't perfect, but I never ran into any game-breaking bugs or got stuck because of technical issues. I completed almost the entire game on Steam Deck without any problems. I was pleasantly surprised by the puzzle design. Each stage is more complex than it first appears, making them satisfying to work through. The music also fits the atmosphere nicely. If the colorful visuals appeal to you and you're looking for a relaxed puzzle adventure, I'd say it's worth picking up on sale.

I don't know why my brain thought to pick this game up, but I own it now and I got to write something about this children's game. I didn't expect much from this 3D puzzle platformer, but what I didn't expect was how dull and repetitive it gets. I know its just a game involving simple color puzzles designed for the younger audience, but the novelty gets boring fast. Also, the game, while nice looking just feels slow overall. It doesn't help that the cutscenes, while very few, are drawn out for one shot bosses who are supposed to be your competitors in the color tourney, and the first boss is more memory game than anything (did I mention there is only two bosses). I was just begging for a skip cutscene button since it plays every time you go through that stage. Lastly the collectables don't mean much as they only give you new paint designs. In the end, I wanted to like this game, but I'd rather be playing other games that make me more invested in them.

Absolute steal for less than a buck during Summer Sale '25. Target demographic would be children aged 5 to 12. Quite, slow-paced, easy puzzles throughout various garden mazes. I really can't fault this and, even as a male in his early Fifties, I plan to complete this someday.
