About Cosmic Collapse

Physics based planet matching!

It is time to tidy up the solar system. Can't have all these planets laying around.
 • Shove planets into each other to make bigger planets
 • No stress, take your time
 • Like Suika Game but more forgiving and extra features
 • Play strategically to trigger insane combos
 • Earn missiles to get out of tricky situations
 • Totally accurate simulation of celestial bodies

Tips and tricks

 • Use smaller planets to nudge bigger ones
 • You get more points for chaining collapses. Try to line up planets in the correct order before collapsing them all
 • Keep it tidy, lots of small planets will make the end game difficult
 • Use your missiles wisely, they can be a total game changer

✦ AI summary

Players consistently praise this planet-merging game for its satisfying simplicity, polished design, charming aesthetics, and addictive, chill gameplay that rewards thoughtful pacing. The main complaint is the lack of audio options, particularly a way to lower the music volume, though this doesn't significantly detract from what players consider an excellent arcade-style experience well worth the price.

+ funny and clever + you can take your time for thinking at your own pace + nice 8-bit aesthetics - no option for decreasing music volume

Really high polish for a pico 8 game, and one of the more interesting suika implementations.

There's a lot of games of this type out there, but this one has its own particular charm. It's really addicting too. I've lost who knows how many times, but afterwards I just give it another go. I think a lot of that comes down to how smooth the game runs and the generally chill vibe. Aesthetics and soundtrack aside, the game does offer ways for you to get out of particularly tough binds without removing any challenge. I got this on sale, but even at full price I would say this is worth it. It's arguably an arcade game, but you can play it as long as you like without having to worry about hogging the machine or putting in more tokens. It's good, intuitive fun. I highly recommend picking this one up!
