CPU Invaders - Cyber Arcade

A great little game that's definitely worth its small price. I recommend getting it!

This is my favorite game in the CPU Invaders series. The gameplay is excellent, the graphics look better than reality, and the story is even better than Breaking Bad. If you’ve never tried CPU Invaders, you’re seriously missing out—you should download it right now and start playing.

Who needs a separate game window when your entire desktop can become an arcade? Classic minigames, digital parasites, and a draggable overlay make multitasking a lot more entertaining. A clever little nostalgia trip that turns procrastination into a high-score competition!

CPU Invaders – Cyber Arcade, developed and published by Microblast Games, is a compact indie arcade shooter that experiments with how games can interact with the player’s desktop environment. Instead of confining the gameplay to a traditional fullscreen window, the game overlays itself on top of the user’s desktop, allowing players to continue using their computer while waves of digital enemies invade the screen. This unusual design gives the game a playful meta-concept: your computer itself becomes the battlefield. Emails, browser windows, and desktop icons remain visible as the action unfolds around them, turning ordinary multitasking into an unexpected arcade challenge. The premise behind CPU Invaders – Cyber Arcade is simple but imaginative. The player must defend their computer from swarms of “digital parasites” that appear across the screen as if the system is under attack. These enemies spawn in different patterns and attempt to overwhelm the player, requiring quick reactions to eliminate them before they multiply. Pretty fun arcade shooter with a cool cyber theme. Easy to get into and satisfying to clear waves of enemies.
