Creatures of Aether

I've played this game since the official launch of it on mobile (2020), so I actually have more hours than shown on Steam. I know this is not the kind of project Aether Studios can upkeep alongside their bigger games in the same franchise, but I still love it. I however miss my wife Guadua and husband Master Cai ):

PROS - Charming pixel art and creature designs. - Easy to learn gameplay with some strategic depth. - Fun to experiment with different creatures. CONS - Gameplay becomes repetitive over time. - Long-term progression isn't particularly rewarding. - Doesn't offer enough variety to stay engaging for extended sessions. VERDICT Creatures of Aether left me with mixed feelings. I enjoyed collecting creatures and learning its mechanics, but after the initial excitement wore off, I found myself losing the motivation to keep playing. It's a decent game with a charming presentation, but personally, it didn't have enough depth or long-term appeal to make me want to stick with it. 3/5

This just an advanced version of Skystones from those old Skylanders games. No one plays it but the bots are fun to play against

Free to play card game that plays like Skylanders' Skystone Smash. Doesn't receive updates anymore.

Very creative take on the card game genre, though there are barely any people on it nowadays. Playing with AI is still an option so it's not completely unplayable, imo pretty balanced and fun to toy around with. Also performance friendly for the most part, some freezing here and there so i don't recommend running the instance if you simultaneously run other steam games (there's a bug there that won't let you collect rewards) other than that it's a lovely game! niche, barely breathing but very fun. If the Aether universe interests you, i suggest looking through Aether Studios' other works.
