Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 1 Re-Raptored

The Match 3 Puzzles are solid with interesting abilities to shake things up. The total of 16 Puzzle seems too low to me for the price. The visual novel part does not appeal to me as is, but the jokes did not land for me and the forth wall breaks were neither surprising nor interesting to me.

I loved the first game, but this game removes a huge part of what made the first game fun to me. I liked the exploration, being able to branch off to different routes with different choices. This game is almost completely linear. Other than that, it just feels like a spinoff dlc with fights of mixed difficulty. If you dont care about the exploration and just want the story and match 3 gameplay, this is a good/faithful sequel to the original. If you do care about exploration, this has none of that.

Consider this a neutral review. This game is pretty fun. But it's really short, only about 3-4 hours. For this price (10€), you can get a lot a great value buying other title. but hey, it was fun, I like the humor. Probably worth waiting for a discount

A sequel to the first CRDM game, and I had a great time with it. There were clever spins on the mechanics, another terrific soundtrack, some fun returning characters, and the comedy is still spot on. It is a more linear experience than the first game, but since it's also shorter, that worked for me. If it had been longer it would have stuck out, but as it is, CRDM 1: Re-raptored is like a perfect chaser.

Playing Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 before this is needed to get the most out of things, but I think it captures the same atmosphere, and works as a nice mirror to it, metaphorically bringing the story full circle. While I'm a little sad at the game becoming less-branching as it continued, it actually fits into the narrative and gives an opportunity to focus in on letting singular encounters be more intense than they could be amidst what might become a gauntlet if there were more branches. I wasn't expecting to see any more in this series, but I'm glad that this game surprised me.

Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 is a clever game with a variety of puzzles and mission types and great writing. I jumped in to CRDM1 hoping to experience an original story. Instead, this is more of a CRDM3.5 where the story kinda continues except it doesn't know whether it's in the past or future. I could excuse that if the levels were novel or the writing was engaging, but it's all kinda one note.
