About Creepy Shift: Uncle Joe’s Motel

Every day’s the same.Making beds, taking out trash, vacuuming, and surprises no one asked for. People leave all kinds of things behind here... some of them say something about who they are, leave a clue  and imagination does the rest. But… there are people you really don’t want to get to know.

Unfortunately, life rarely listens to what you want. It hands you a script you can’t prepare for. That’s why it’s worth choosing a way to play where improvisation feels natural. My style? Noir - Because every chapter is a mystery that needs solving.

Key Features:
  • First-Person Interactive Gameplay
  • Room Service Work Simulation
  • Noir-Inspired Atmosphere
  • Engaging Storyline
  • Survival Elements
  • Immersive Experience

2.5/10. Somewhere between here and Creepy Shift Dinner, they fell off. Maybe the studio went corpo. This game is generic corpo garbage. Might as well be made by an AI. Extremely rigid, shallow game. This game is "Psychological Noir" in the same way stabbing someone with a spoon is "Surgery." Then again, the game is only the cost of a Hambuger. It's a toss up between this and a Big Mac. You've had both forms of generic garbage a thousand times, and both will leave you with a shameful chemical aftertaste. But at least a Big Mac will keep you alive a little longer. There is no doubt a Wendy's Baconator will do more for your life than this game. No one on the staff from the Devs to the VA's game a damn about this game, and neither should you.

[[[[ NO SPOILER ]]]] Video Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbm0J7tTahc After playing all three I can comfortably say this is the worst, then the first, finally the middle one was pretty decent. These games recycle the same tired "make money" mechanics of making the player do virtual work for 90% of the game and the 10% that's actual scares gets recycled over and over. Now the graphics are top notch, but I can't ignore the laziness and lack of actual horror to these. While there was enough "good stuff" to overlook the horrid game mechanics, they are especially bad in this one. Every time you want to scrape gum you have to: 1) Look down at your virtual "toolkit" 2) Select your scraper 3) Hover over the gum in question 4) Hold down 'E' while moving your mouse in an up and down direction 5) Pick up the gum off the ground 6) Throw gum away in the trash 7) Repeat ALL THESE STEPS FOR EVERY SINGLE GUM WAD YOU FIND! And the entire game is like this...why? To drag it out needlessly cause there isn't enough horror in this horror game. Jesus Christ, just reading a text or answering a call is a 5-6 step process! But for some reason, every time you don't follow one of the ghosts…

This game honestly was really good. i wasnt expecting much for the price i paid, but the gameplay loop was fun, room designs and events were cool, and the story felt like a gut punch for me personally, since i dealt with many similar issues in the past. i believe this game is underpriced if anything. good story, good loop, only gripe is that the achievement for plants appears to unfortunately be bugged, making it so i cant 100% this gem. Absolutely worth playing. I didnt understand how they would make a cozy horror game until i played this.
