I can't recommend the game in the state it's in. I've played for almost 7 hours and the only reason I pushed through this far was because I thought that it was going to get fun as I unlocked more things, but it did not. I understand that this is still in early access, but I was expecting something a little more fleshed out for the 20 CAD I paid at the time of this review. What I liked: - Delegating harvesting, watering, and animal care to workers is convenient, while still requiring some hands-on management (hoe plots, refresh crops, buy feed, medicate animals). - Collecting all animal products with a single button press is a nice quality of life feature. - Cute pets. - Generous inventory space. - Buildings can be moved freely. What I disliked: - The town is locked behind a long, grind-heavy early quest requiring large amounts of money and hundreds of shipped crops. This feels intentionally paced to push players past Steam's refund window. I thought for sure the game would get more interesting after having access to the town, but when I entered it my first reaction was "...that's it?" - World and NPCs feel lifeless. Shops all look the same, NPCs lack personality, share recycled d…

Cropia was a really fun farming game for $12. Just the essence of farming: no combat, no romance, no citybuilding. Lots of daily chores and walking.
Cropia
zoomin turtles My name is G0disPink and I have a YouTube channel where I play and upload my first experience with a game unedited. Most of my videos are 20 to 30 minutes in length and this is my critique from my short time with the game. Similarities From

Stardew Valley
My Time at Portia/Sandrock
The Good

Extremely cute models
Very easy and relaxed mechanics
Super speedy turtles
The Bad

No multiplayer
Low price point
Final Opinion Hands down the cutest game I have played in a while. Every entity in this game is modeled with care and attention to detail. Mechanics and gameplay are easy to grasp and pretty simple to understand. This is a game I'll be recommending to people who want to play something single player and casual. Check out my short YouTube video for more details https://youtu.be/YNe9dPyUL58

Sooo boring. There is quest and after quest of high numbers of crops needed, and all I felt was ugh, more of the same. The NPCs are all dead. There's one guy who stands on your farm in the same position day in and day out. Go home! The mine is bland, all stone one color. You can be surprised at what you get from a blank white stone--or not. It's just boring. There are multiple tunnels, but I can't figure out if you get something different from them or if they are just there. The town is locked at the start of the game, but when you get it unlocked, it's boring with dull NPCs. You would think you'd start to have fun if you could just unlock--whatever thing. No, more boring high numbers of crops. I started making sure the workers finished and were idling before I quickly ended the day, hoping to get to the completion of a quest. It's a bad sign when you deliberately end your day early and avoid the mine at all costs because you'd die of boredom there. I guess the game is for someone, just not me.
