RUN YOUR OWN FARM: Grow and nurture your own crops, raise animals and convert the empty woodland surrounding your workshop into a quaint little farm! My Time at Portia offers an innovative approach to farming, allowing you to take advantage of planter boxes and semi-automatic irrigation systems. You can even take your horse or llama out for a ride around the town!

With My Time at Portia, I actually gave the game two chances. The first time, I played for many hours. Then later I started again because I really wanted to see if maybe I had been unfair to it the first time. But unfortunately, I ended up feeling exactly the same. The beginning is exciting. You create your own character, enter this open world, build your own life, get to know the townspeople, form relationships, grow stronger and slowly have an impact on the region around you. On paper, that sounds completely like my type of game. And there are things I like here. The art direction looks detailed and dense, the world has a likable feel to it, and there are a lot of cute little details. But the crafting system completely overwhelmed me. I really dislike having machine after machine scattered around my home just to process different types of materials. One for wood, another for metal, another for something else, and then you constantly have to keep track of what is being made where and what material you still need before you can finally craft the thing you actually wanted. For me, it becomes hectic rather than relaxing. I think I would have enjoyed it much more if there were …1 found this helpful

The game is fun, once I figured out how to do everything. Totally addicted to this game!

i love this game i love helpiing people and being able to have children and get married in the game is amazing but the children need to grow up and be able to become friends and you should be able to have more then 2 children and i would like to see where you can have more pets and it should not take so long on some of the making of materials to build things and friendships should be a little more easier i would like to see the people interact more with my character instead of just my character interacting
I tried to like it, I wish I had played it before My Time At Sandrock though, this game is lacking compared to it. It doesn't feel nice to play and the characters just feel off.
