[h1] They are eating the croquettes [/h1] First I thought why suddenly everyone is playing a clicker game with insanely long French sounding achievements ? Then it turned out there is a strategy existing to complete it in just a few hours. I was hooked despite the profane topic of this game is to gain insane amounts of cat food / kibble to upgrade everything to 100.So I already warmed up my autoclicker script to finish this game in a few minutes. But then at 5k clicks/sec it froze. After some investigation the real goal is to reach 10k clicks once, then buy the reflexe / fast reaction game to stack up each time 10% on your food pile. In combination with some upgrades and raising up my winning pot to 10e29 I was eventually able to buy everything. CroquettesClicker is a surprisingly charming little idle game, and I found myself enjoying the ridiculous idea behind it more than I expected. The whole thing is built around collecting cat kibble and turning that simple resource into an increasingly absurd production empire. It starts small, but before long I am dealing with upgrades, factories and completely ridiculous ideas like interstellar convoys and kibble black holes. The main gameplay is built around clicking to produce kibble and then spending that kibble on improvements that increase my production. I liked the basic loop because I can see the numbers steadily growing while each upgrade makes the next step easier to reach. It has that familiar incremental game feeling where one improvement quickly leads to another and suddenly I have been playing much longer than I intended. The mini games are a nice addition because they give me something active to do instead of simply waiting for resources. I can use these challenges to increase my production, which gives the otherwise passive gameplay a little more interaction. I enjoyed having that choice between letting the game run and actually participating when I wanted to speed…
